Moxie
Moms is an independent organization for moms with over 1,300 members
and 200 local business partners. Moxie Moms was founded in
Colorado and has chapters in AZ, CA, DC, FL, MD, MN, NC, NV, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA with more starting
every
month. We are expanding across North America.
Moxie Moms is looking for Area Managers to
start new chapters.
We need women business owners and moms with entrepreneurial spirit who
want to bring the benefits of Moxie Moms to their community.
Moxie Moms is essentially a marketing services company: our core skills
underlie our ability to promote events & businesses. We serve
moms & kids, and we serve locally-owned businesses that offer
products & services to moms (e.g., Stroller Strides licensees, toy
stores, fitness centers, Gymboree licensees ).
Our business mission is two-fold:
- making it easier to be a mom, and,
- supporting local businesses that serve moms
& kids
We make it easier to
be a mom by promoting fun & safe events that moms can attend
with children and by offering substantial discounts at many local
businesses (our partners) around town. And, we support local businesses by
promoting them to our members through partner listings, email
announcements and special event promotion. In essence, we bring
moms to our partners.
Our
Area Managers are independent contractors who earn commissions from the
fees generated in their Area (i.e., chapter). We find that our
best Area Managers are moms who are currently running or who have the
entrepreneurial spirit to run a mom & kid-oriented business.
We find that these moms are best able to create and capitalize on
synergies created by Moxie Moms. Moxie
Moms only takes 5-10 hours a week to operate successfully, and it is a
great way to make an positive impact on your community.
